Tons of Beacon Charm in a Small Package, $235,000
Kandy Harris | May 25, 2015
According to Realtor.com, the average listing price of a single-family home in Beacon is around $273,000. What’s more, properties don’t stay on the market for long. Even small, expensive, or poorly-maintained properties (so sayeth Realtor.com, and we’ve definitely seen this to be the case in our own observations) get scooped up quickly around these parts, and while this sweet home is certainly on the small side (909 square feet), it’s definitely not poorly-maintained. So, the fact that it’s been lingering on the market a bit longer than its counterparts is a bit surprising to us. Nonetheless, we aren’t immune to its cuteness, and it’s located one block off of Main Street and about 5 minutes from the Metro-North. Perhaps this 2 bed/2 bath house with a fenced-in back yard just hasn’t found its soulmate yet.
