Going with the Flow: It’s Water Views Week
Kandy Harris | May 11, 2015It’s only the second week in May, but we did something yesterday we thought we’d never do this early in the season: We went swimming. Sure, the water is still a tad on the frosty side, but after languishing in 90 degree heat all week, the cool water felt refreshing. It also got us thinking about how lucky we are to live in an area where water access is abundant. Between the Hudson River, a multitude of creeks, swimming holes, and lakes, there’s never a shortage of places to dip your toes in or just listen to the soothing sounds of it all. There are also plenty of properties around where you can see water outside the living room window. And, in spite of our flood-based fears, we can’t shake the fantasy of living in house on the water, or, at least, with a decent view of it. So, this week, we’ll be exploring places with water views or access. Prepare to be ridiculously refreshed. Stay tuned…
