From the Classifieds: Handmade ‘Sheep Wagon’ for $6K
Kandy Harris | November 28, 2017Talk about a labor of love. The current owner of this handmade “sheep wagon” converted a trailer into a sleeping pod with a queen size bed, knotty wood paneling, and a double-paned window. For $6,000, it’s an inexpensive option for those looking for a trailer for glamping or an extra place for guests to stay when they drop in for the weekend.
According to the Craigslist ad, which we found while searching the Capital District RV/camper listings, the electricity works in the wagon, and the small interior includes a microwave and small fridge. Heating/cooling remain a mystery, so let’s just assume that there’s neither. The wagon is located in Granville NY, about 90 north of Albany.
For glamping, this wagon would be perfect. It’s a trailer, though, and it looks like a heavy one, so if you don’t have a truck with a hitch, you’ll need to park this on your property. Which is great, because now you have a place to put your in-laws when they come to visit. You’re welcome.
