A Nearly Turn-key Three-Bedroom in Ellenville for $265K

  |  January 10, 2023

We’re back in the center of Ellenville today, at a house that’s a perfect fit for a family.

This 1,534-square-foot home shares the cul-de-sac on which it sits with just two other houses (no through traffic, so kiddos can safely ride their bikes). The white exterior looks a little bland, but maybe the new owner could dress it up with some colorful shutters on the windows.

Walk in the front door (on the left in this picture), and enter the living room. The floor is tile, but we’re unsure if it’s vinyl or ceramic.

The living room is awash in neutral white walls and that greige-y floor—which means a clean slate for the next owner. A wide doorway leads to the dining room.

A post-Modern chandelier hangs off-center in the room above the dining table.

The eat-in kitchen has the same flooring as the living and dining rooms. The cabinetry is new-looking, in a minimalist gray, with what looks like granite countertops. Track lighting on the ceiling bounces light off the gray tiled backsplash.

We bet one of these doors conceals either a pantry or laundry area.

A half-bath is a convenient touch on the main floor. Again, its floor doesn’t stray from the floors in the rest of the main level. White walls and a white vanity equal a blank canvas for imagination.

Gray carpeting covers the otherwise white staircase leading to the second floor.

All three bedrooms have the same gray carpet, and recessed lighting. This first room has blue walls and room for gaming as well as sleeping.

This bedroom has beige walls and is a good size, too.

The primary bedroom has a mirrored-door closet and an irregular shape that adds even more room to the space.

The full bath up here has a tile floor and tile up the side of the tub/shower combination, which has a fixed showerhead and a hand-held shower.

Attic stairs lead to two finished rooms at the top of the house that are perfect for an entertainment cave, playroom, crafts room, or yoga space.

Plus, an unfinished basement offers more storage.

The patio is painted concrete in a size big enough for gathering all your friends and family. There’s more than a third of an acre of property, too. The house is a five-minute walk to Center Street for great Asian food at Sook House or a notable raisin/pumpernickel loaf at Cohen’s Bakery.
