Car-Free Country House: Hudson Converted Church, $550,000
Kandy Harris | August 14, 2013
Apparently, if you’re looking for a car-free property option a stone’s throw from the train station, and you need it to be a converted church, Hudson is your go-to town. A few months ago, we featured this church and recording studio, and today, we’ve found another one. Constructed in 1933, this 7,900-square-foot church is steps from the Amtrak station in Hudson, and it’s got a killer view of the river. Looks like it’s been lived in, but there aren’t many pictures of the interior to hint at the kitchen and bath situation. It’s also situated on nearly an entire acre convenient to town, with lots of gardens and trees. Did we mention it’s nearly 8,000 square feet? Wow.

Square Feet: 7,900
