Five-Figure Friday: Pond Eddy Cabin, $99,900
Kandy Harris | May 2, 2014Cabin? Cottage? Bungalow, perhaps? Whatever you want to call it, just make sure you call your guy about flood insurance before you get too enamored. It’s right on the Delaware River, which provides something nice to look at from the living room windows, but maybe not so nice when the waters rise. Regardless, the listing says a couple of interesting about this 800-square-foot cabin/cottage/bungalow (cabtagalow? Too late, it’s been coined) . It’s a restored Indian trading post, apparently, and includes a well. Also, heating system “to be installed.” Does that mean the owner’s about to install it, or that it needs to be installed by whomever buys it? So many questions. Pond Eddy is on the NY/PA border in southwest Sullivan County, town of Lumberland.
