Five-Figure Fridays: Newburgh Victorian, $74,000
Upstater | August 24, 2012
There are at least five potentially beautiful properties for less than $100,000 in the Heights in Newburgh, a beautiful neighborhood overlooking the Hudson River. Yeah, it’s true, there was a shooting just around the corner from this area the other day — there’s no denying that it’s on the edge of a dangerous place. But there’s an active neighborhood association and folks are trying to make it better.
There are so many to choose from, but this one, while looking a bit sallow in the photos, claims to be renovated. And the listing says to bring all offers, so we’re thinking $74,000 will not be the final price. Put $100,000 of work into it and you will have something absolutely magnificent.
