Got Seven Million Bucks? Looking for Your New Super Villain Lair?
Kandy Harris | April 4, 2016Imagine hatching your devious schemes for world domination from this private causeway located on Long Island Sound in the Westchester County town of Mamaroneck. With four acres, you could probably build that giant laser gun you drew up plans for all these years ago.
But wait. You didn’t think you could live by the sea in upstate New York, did you? While most people (us included) wouldn’t really include Westchester County among the rest of “upstate” New York, we’re bending the rules for a rare seaside location. Besides, check out the inside of this 1963 Contemporary designed by mid-century architect Ulrich Franzen, which even sounds like a super villain name. Being a maniacal mastermind hellbent on sending Mr. Bond to an early (??) grave has its perks, clearly.
707 Taylors Lane, Mamaroneck (Sotheby’s)
