It’s Homes Near the Slopes Week!

For winter sports enthusiasts, the Catskill Mountains are a winter wonderland. There lots of slopes to choose from, including biggies like Hunter Mountain, Windham Mountain, and Belleayre; or smaller ones, like Plattekill Mountain and Holiday Mountain, that generally get less media attention than the others. Regardless of where you like to go downhill at near-dangerous speeds, properties abound nearby. Opening day for many of these places is coming up quickly (usually end of November), so this week, we’ll be exploring a property per day in order to give those looking for a part-time (or full-time) pad near the all the snowy action a glimpse at the market. So get your skis shined up (a stick of Juicy Fruit, however, is optional).
