Queen Ann Victorian in Newburgh, $199,500
Elizabeth Wilson | March 10, 2015Don’t get us wrong – we love the eaves and cornices lining Newburgh’s William Street in an elegant, multicolored row, but there’s nothing that gets us in the mood for a sherry cobbler and a game of cribbage quite like a turret. The Newburgh Historical Society seems to share our sentiments, as they have included this gorgeous Victorian in their historic house tour on numerous occasions. Of course, one elegant turret does not a home make, which brings us to the rich, warm palette of the newly renovated interior. From the chocolate-hued walls in the dining room to the polished flooring in the upstairs nursery, the sumptuous autumnal shades of this home are so elegant and would so easy to incorporate into whatever new décor moves in with the new owners, whoever those lucky son-of-a-guns may be.
