Five-Figure Fridays: Liberty Village Arts & Crafts for $99,000
Upstater | February 17, 2012
Liberty and its environs are great places to shop for upstate New York properties under $100,000. You’ll find the village of Liberty full of potential and a bit of heartbreak, some great services and some lacking. It’s easy to get there — a straight shot up Route 17, and you can take the bus, too — and easy to be there once you arrive.
Although it’s hard to compete with the truly amazing Napanoch home we wrote up earlier in the week — an eight-bedroom magnificent farmhouse from the 18th century, being offered at the bizarre and enticing price of $76,000 — this Arts and Crafts bungalow has plenty of charm. It has three-beds and one-and-a-half baths, a mud room and a sun room, some nice built-ins, and that sweet porch.
