Scoop Up Your Dream Three-Season Getaway Home or Rental at This Retro Fabulous Westchester Bungalow Community
Pine Lake Park | July 5, 2022Does just the idea of a retro-fabulous, vacation community for all ages where you can while away those glorious summer days make your ears perk up? Well, here’s the scoop on a spot you won’t want to miss out on.
Just an hour from New York City in Westchester’s Cortlandt Manor is Pine Lake Park, a secluded classic bungalow community that feels like it was plucked right from the hit show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The oh-so-dreamy 1950s-style escape is chock-full of opportunities for summer fun and has provided a much-need break from city life for its vacation home owners and renters for more than 85 years.
Open from mid-May to early October, the 65-unit, 50-acre summer community boasts plenty of leisurely, nature-centric activities for you and yours to enjoy. Looking for a little fun in the sun? Jump in the picturesque life-guarded lake, practice your serve on one of the four clay tennis courts, or join a weekly pickup basketball game. For those in search of a little more R&R, there’s a community book club and a gorgeous old-fashioned social hall, or you can just chill by your grill and soak in the good vibes. It’s the best of summer camp, but with wifi!
With several of the bungalows currently for sale in the co-op, and rental units potentially available too, the dream of a wholesome, free-range summer in this classic bungalow community can be yours. As part of the co-op membership, everyone pitches in to help and there’s an annual maintenance fee to keep the endless summer fun going each year. Prices for bungalows range from $150,000 to $179,500.
Guided tours of Pine Lake Park and available units are planned for March 26, 2023 by appointment only. Discover more about the community and available units, and sign up at Pinelakepark.info.
